Site Services Engineer

As a Site Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of diverse electrical and mechanical industrial rotating equipment, including motors, pumps, and gearboxes, at customer sites. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance activities, with occasional workshop duties encompassing repairs on various industrial equipment such as AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, gearboxes, pumps, fan units, and other associated rotating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on-site to inspect, repair, and maintain a broad range of industrial rotating equipment.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance at both small and large customer sites.
  • Undertake workshop duties, focusing on the repair of industrial equipment and components.

About You: We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient in fault finding and adept at identifying and rectifying defects and worn/damaged components.
  • Basic electrical testing capability to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components.
  • Strong mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components, along with an understanding of reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options.
