Depot Driver

Job Title: Depot Driver

Location: Enfield

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, shifts between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

Role:

We're hiring a Depot Driver for our Enfield location. The main responsibilities include collecting and delivering vehicles, cleaning and preparing them for clients, and completing necessary paperwork. This role is dynamic and fast-paced, with tasks subject to change. Some late finishes may be required, and overtime will be compensated.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all vehicles meet standards, including cleanliness and presentation.
  • Maintain professionalism and wear the company uniform.
  • Perform pre-delivery checks on vehicles and report defects.
  • Meet customer and company expectations for vehicle collection and delivery.
  • Complete rental paperwork accurately and ensure all agreements are signed.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards, reporting any incidents.
  • Maintain a safe and organised yard.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Provide vehicle familiarisation to customers as needed.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experienced commercial vehicle driver, preferably with Class 1 licence.
  • Comfortable working with various types of commercial vehicles.
  • Current Driver CPC certification.
  • Attention to detail for completing paperwork and noting vehicle defects.
  • Ability to conduct vehicle walk-around checks

Hours: 45 hours per week

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum plus overtime.

Monday to Friday - Shifts between 07.00am - 17.30pm
