Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on buses, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address emerging issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and promptly report major faults or defects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, with a preference for expertise in buses or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical staff.
