Electro Mechanical Engineer

As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in repairing a diverse range of industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, gearboxes, pumps, fan units, and other associated rotating equipment. Your responsibilities will extend to fault finding, identifying, and rectifying defects and worn/damaged components. Additionally, your role will require basic electrical testing skills to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components. Sound mechanical engineering knowledge is crucial, encompassing the ability to rectify faulty and worn/damaged components, as well as an understanding of reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options. Familiarity with pumps, particularly hot oil and water, and basic hydraulic knowledge will be advantageous.

About You: We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is flexible and willing to work the required hours in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment.
  • Can participate in the call-out rota as needed.
  • Has experience working on-site and in the workshop, with site working experience being a distinct advantage. Possession of suitable qualifications such as a CCNSG passport is preferable.
  • Prioritizes health and safety in all aspects of work.
  • Is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
