We are actively searching for a skilled Electrical Control Systems Technician to join our client, a leading supporter of diverse industries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimation Expertise: Utilize your experience to estimate panel build time and costs, providing valuable insights for project planning.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date parts inventory, generate reorder lists, and ensure seamless project execution.

  • On-Site Flexibility: Be ready for on-site work, contributing to retrofit projects with a hands-on and adaptable approach.

  • Meticulous Wiring: Execute precise wiring and assembly of components for industrial machinery, specializing in control cabinets and panels.

  • Crimping and Terminating: Demonstrate expertise in crimping, routing, and cable termination on control panels.

  • Blueprint Proficiency: Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematic wiring with precision.

  • Mechanical and Electrical Assembly: Showcase proficiency in both mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring versatility.

  • Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of hand tools to ensure precise and efficient work.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Wiring Expert: Proven experience in point-to-point wiring and cable end termination (crimping/soldering).

  • Drawing Interpretation: Ability to understand and manufacture to GA and schematic drawings, ensuring flawless execution.

  • Panel Wiring Experience: Previous experience in control panel wiring, cable routing, and electrical assembling.

  • Independent Operator: Demonstrate the ability to act as a stand-alone operator on any given project, showcasing leadership skills.

Desirable, but not Essential:

  • High Standards: Familiarity with manufacturing to IPC Class 3 standard.

  • Innovation Insight: Exposure to prototype and development wiring.

  • Testing Proficiency: Basic testing experience, enhancing your skill set.
