Office Administrator

Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team in a dual-role position, split between administrative functions (50%) and pricing support (50%). This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Customer Support (50%)

  • Follow up with customers within agreed timescales after quotes have been issued.
  • Assist with the preparation, accuracy, and distribution of pricing information.
  • Liaise with customers to answer queries and provide additional support.

Administrative Support (50%)

  • Provide day-to-day admin support to the Office Manager and wider team.
  • Monitor and manage office emails, phone calls, and general correspondence.
  • Maintain and administer company social media platforms (Facebook / LinkedIn).
  • Collate, check, and approve staff timesheets.
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure compliance procedures are correctly followed.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings, ensuring smooth organisation.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for management when required.
  • Meet and greet visitors, ensuring a professional first point of contact.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or pricing support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media platforms.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to work.
